About Me
Hi there! My name is Charlotte, although I'm sure you already know that from seeing the HUGE name at the top of the page. I am currently a First Class with Hons graduate from Staffordshire University in which I studied Computer Games Programming. You may have noticed I had a large break where no work has been produced from December 2020-December 2021. This is because, due to personal reasons I had to take a small break from my studies. I am currently undergoing a PGCE Secondary qualification in Computer Science at Birmingham City University (BCU) and will expect to finish this by the end of July. I am looking to start a job in the games/programming industry after then!
I have already produced a game for a client before in a previous course I have completed - you can find information on this under the "Other Notable Work" section! This game could be found in the Time and Tide museum in Great Yarmouth - you can check a little more out about that here.
I am incredibly passionate about games and in the future, wish to go into Gameplay programming. I have always loved games such as The Sims, games by Frontier and other simulation games that I can play, because hey, we're all living in a simulation anyway. My ultimate dream is to work on a game that is the driving force towards discussing many taboo topics through the use of gaming, such as mental health, or why there isn't a Fable 2 remake yet... (I suppose a new Fable game will have to do, thanks Playground!) I hope you enjoy your stay on my site.
